Diamond Hole Saw Product Guide

USER INSTRUCTIONS

Century Diamond Hole Saws work best when proper drilling methods are used. To drill

effectively, use water lubrication, proper drill speed (see RPM chart for proper speeds), and low pressure.

LUBRICATION

Century Diamond Hole Saws require continuous water lubrication. Do not use any other type of lubrication.

Constant water lubrication prevents overheating.

CLAY DAM: Perfect for horizontal surfaces. Roll craft clay and shape around your drilling area.

Fill dam with about 3/8″ of water.

WATER HOSE: Use a hose to provide a constant flow of water into the drilling hole.

To be sure plenty of water flows into the hole saw tip, pump the drill (raise the drill up slightly) every 15-20 seconds.

SPRAY BOTTLE: Use a spray bottle for vertical surfaces. It is crucial that water seeps into the hole.

PRESSURE

Use 10 to 15 pounds of pressure at the hole saw’s head.

STARTING TEMPLATE

Make V-shaped notch or hole in a scrap of wood or plastic. Place notch over target hole and rest saw in notch as hole saw starts.

Use low RPM until saw seats itself.

NOT DESIGNED FOR USE ON CONCRETE, MASONRY, OR METAL. DO NOT USE WITH IMPACT HAMMER DRILLS.
